After great results with our N54 standard length studs our clients have been requesting a long head stud kit for the BMW N54 engine, and after high power testing, we are proud to offer the N54 Long Head Stud Kit for those seeking for the highest quality studs for the highest horsepower builds.

Key Features:

  • Length: All 14 studs are 11mm and 10 middle studs are longer to make the block safe against well known N54 block cracking eliminating design flaws of OEM N54 block when it is used in build with 1000+ hp . All threads requires precision machining of 9mm threads (which we can provide), and making deeper middle 10 bores and threads.
  • Cylindrical Thread Tip: This feature makes studs to bottom out at controlled manner, unlike those which wedge in the end of thread by putting stress on block thread bore.
  • Perfect Fit: Correct length thread and overall length ensure a precise fit without extra precautions.
  • No need for time-serts: Correct stud design ensures strong thread engagement and there is no need for removing extra material from block, thus it stays strong and reliable. 
  • Superior Clamping Force: Our design allows up to 50% more clamping force compared to main rivals.
  • Versatile Washers: Includes two sizes to fit OEM N54 heads.

Important Installation Information

Before using our HCR N54 Head Stud Kit, your engine block and head must be machined to accommodate the larger studs, replacing the fragile M9 bolts in all four corners and drilling and threading the middle 10 bores and threads in block. The original head bolt passages need to be drilled out to 11,5mm to fit the 11mm studs. We offer comprehensive machining services to ensure a perfect fit.

    Before needed services we agree on all the prices and services need to be done. The invoice is sent after all the work is completed and before the engines are being shipped. Once a payment is recieved, we ship the cases.
